- Now strain the water from the rice once it is done
- Once the rice is done pour the syrup which has been made earlier into the rice and make sure that all the rice has drowned in it
- Do not use any kind of spoon nor stir it otherwise the rice will get broken
- Put it in steam for 10-15 mins till the water gets dried in the shahi zerda and till is fully ready
- Add some dry fruits,cherry,khoya according to your wish
- And the shahi zerda is ready to serve
