  1. Put the minced beef in a pan and stir to break up the lumps then leave it to simmer till it turns brown. Then add the onions, garlic and salt. Cover and let it simmer further.
  2. Add the blended tomatoes, tomato paste and spices. You can add more salt at this point if necessary. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. The sauce should not be too wet nor should it be too dry.
  3. NOTE * Some lasagna sheets need to be boiled while others don't. This depends with the brand. Be sure to check the packaging for instructions before you start layering.
  4. In a casserole dish, start by layering the pasta sauce at the bottom, then the lasagna sheets, followed by the meat sauce and finally the cheese. Spread everything evenly. Repeat the layering till you get to the top of the dish.
  5. Cover with foil and cook in a 375 degree F preheat oven for 40 min. Remove the foil and let it cook uncovered for 20 min.
  6. Once done, let it cool then serve.
