Even though it's not made like in the traditional mandi style, it'll taste pretty similar to restaurant bought. Last Friday i made this Mutton mandi recipe, it was a big hit. - Put mutton mandi on greased oven tray and put some butter on it
- And bake it on preheated oven at 200 °c for 5 minutes
- For rice put oil in degcha
- Add some sliced onion and dry spices and fry well
- Now add ginger garlic paste and fry it until change in golden colour
- Add remaining mandi masala which we keep aside with 1.5 ltr water
- When water boiled add soaked rice and salt in it mix well and cook it on high flame
- When water began to dry up add sugar mix it again cook it until water dry compeletly
- Now add soaked raisins amd almonds in rice
- Now put green chillies and mint leaves on rice and cover it with lid and cook 15 minutes more on low flame
- After 15 minutes rice cooked nicely
