  2. Get 2 onions finely sliced
  3. Prepare 1 tomato chopped
  4. Get 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  6. Get 1/2 Ginger finely sliced
  7. Take 1/3 Mint bunch chopped
  8. Get 1 tsp Salt adjust acc to taste
  9. Take 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder

  11. Prepare 1 tsp cummin seeds

Steps to make DHABA style mash daal:
  1. Heat oil add 1 1/2 onion and saute for 5mins.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp cummin seeds,red chilli powder, tumeric powder, whole garam masala,salt and green chilli and mix well.
  3. Now add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes soft.
  4. Add mash daal and 1/2 water and Cook until done.
  5. For tarka.. heat oil add 1/2 onion and fry until light golden brown then add cumin seeds..
  6. Pour tarka on daal and serve hot with roti/naa,salad.
